I am a mathematician working mainly in the field of noncommutative geometry. My research is focussed primarily on understanding the consequences of group (and quantum group) actions on noncommutative geometries, including spectral triples, using and extending the methods of unbounded Kasparov theory. I am interested also in the interaction of noncommutative geometry with other areas of mathematics, particularly differential geometry, including conformal, contact, and parabolic structures on manifolds, as well as geometric group theory, index theory, and the theory of dynamical systems. Other motivations for my work include resolving the failure of the constructive Kasparov product and fitting higher rank Bernstein–Gelfand–Gelfand complexes into Kasparov theory.
